SAMSUNG SDI’s residential ESS solution, integrated with photovoltaic power generation system, makes green energy available 24/7. Energy generated from PV system during the daytime is stored in the ESS, available for use any time and minimizes the grid purchases, which increases energy self-consumption and decreases overall electricity bills. In addition, rural areas where the power grid hardly covers can enjoy stable and cheap electricity from the PV system connected to the ESS and it can also be used as an emergency power source when an unexpected interruption occurs.
