On top of that, SAMSUNG SDI’s frequency control capability guarantees better power supply quality and stable operating balance of renewable energy power system. We make sure of additional cost savings available in each country by using cheaper night-time rate electricity for charging batteries as well as reducing peak demand. Also, with a private power station (i.e. solar power) connected to the system, you can build a power station of your own that runs around the clock.
UPS, UES Solution

Energy generated from PV system during the daytime is stored in the ESS, available for use any time and minimizes the grid purchases, which increases energy self-consumption and decreases overall electricity bills. In addition, rural areas where the power grid hardly covers can enjoy stable and cheap electricity from the PV system connected to the ESS and it can also be used as an emergency power source when an unexpected interruption occurs.
BTS Solution
SAMSUNG SDI’s Li-ion battery system is a perfect solution for base transceiver stations because of its lower maintenance cost and broader operating temperature range, enabling stable power supply and seamless telecommunication. In addition, low maintenance requirements of lithium-ion technology make it ideal for remote or inaccessible BTS sites. Having longer battery life than any other Li-ion battery products out there, SAMSUNG SDI’s Li-ion battery solution offers optimal applications for base transceiver stations, spanning from large sized off-grid towers to small sized power backup for pico/micro-cells. When installed with PV panels in base transceiver stations located in off-grid areas, SAMSUNG SDI’s ESS will greatly reduce operating costs.
