Fuel Cell
The polymer electrolyte fuel cell(PEMFC) system, generates electricity by using LPG as fuel. This portable fuel cell system can be used for power supply of electric products, commonly utilized in outdoor leisure activities like camping and fishing.

Since portable fuel cell system directly generates electric energy from chemical energy, it is more efficient when compared to internal combustion engines like existing gasoline generators. PEMFC’s discharge lowers amounts of nitrogen and sulfur oxides resulting in less air pollution. It also greatly reduces discharge of carbon dioxide that is mainly responsible for the greenhouse effect. As a result, PEMFC is introduced as an environment-friendly product.
| Comparison | lnternal Combustion Engine(Gasoline, Diesel) | Portable Fuel Cell System |
|---|---|---|
| Efficiency | Bad | Good |
| Noise & Vibration | Bad | Good |
| Exhaust Gas (Environment-Friendly) | Bad | Good |

A unit that produces hydrogen, a fueling agent for fuel cells. This reaction is generated from fossil fuels. It is generally referred to as a reformer.
A generating unit that produces DC electric currents by directly converting hydrogen chemical energy into electric energy. It supplies electric power.
The part where electrochemical reaction directly occurs between fuel and air.
The unit that supplies the fuel needed for fuel cells and causes the system to operate properly.
The Energy generated by LPG-powered Fuel cell is stored in the battery and then used as the power source for the television, coffeepot, refrigerator or other appliances in the house trailer.
