In 1996, Samsung SDI Donated [Traveling Siloam Eye Clinic Mk.1] to the medical corporation Siloam Eye clinic.
Traveling Siloam Eye Clinic is the eye clinic bus created by modifying large limousine bus and equipping it with cutting edge technologies. The vehicle is furnished with medical equipments including X-ray, surgical microscope, etc. It houses medical office, surgery room, examination room and recovery room.
Medical staff of [Traveling Siloam Eye Clinic] consists of 3 doctors and 6 nurses. They travel over the entire nation to perform medical examinations and surgeries for patients living in remote areas like farmlands, fishing villages, asylums and prison cells. These places get very little or no medical treatment. , Samsung SDI will visit local communities more closely as we have donated [Traveling Siloam Eye Clinic Mk.2] in December 2003.
