All executives and staff donate the rest below 1,000 won unit from their salary for Vietnamese Community Contribution Fund. In the Viet-Korea Cooperation Center which Global Civic Sharing established in Hatai island located in the north of Vietnam, Samsung SDI founded a resident cultural center where it has provided cultural and educational opportunities, contributing to activation of Korea-Vietnam Culture Communication.

Targeting community farmers(annual average 500 farmers), community youths (annual average 500), Viet-Korea Cooperation Center apprentices(annual average 100), computer class participating teachers and educational public servants(annual average 100), Vietnam Support Business of Chunan plant introduces advanced agricultural technology to residents in agriculture area community through village library business, giving them help in their living. Also it develops intellectual ability of youths, fostering them the future leaders.

And also it gives a variety of practical educational effects to apprentices in Viet-Korea Cooperation Center and participants in computer classes.
Through this business, the resident culture center functions as a center informing Korean culture in the business area and many Koreans and visitors here communicate with the Vietnamese directly, uplifting the image of Korea.

It is a volunteer business that support classes after school for about 180 elementary school kids in the 7 areas within the jurisdiction of Chunan city.
For the fund raising, we supports 1 million won by quarter and also practicing invitation event in the company foundation day or group volunteer festivals, repairing classroom facilities after school, providing necessities during campaign of helping needy neighbor at the end of year.

Volunteer team of PDP headquarters visit welfare mission town twice a month, and help farming work. Also it supports to hold picnic events with people in environment purification activity and facilities, taking care of the needy in community.
