In order to satisfy customer¡¯s requirements (Delivery, Cost, Quality, Service), it is an activity to maximize the
management efficiency through integrating and operating optimized process, organization and system with the whole
supply chain objected from customers, logistics, components, partnering companies, in-house development, sale,
manufacturing, delivery to finance.



SCM of Samsung SDI is structured with logistics, information and cash flow among domestic and foreign component
corporations, Samsung SDI plants at home and abroad, transportation companies, domestic and foreign customers and also
it is connected to manpower, material and intellectual resources and asset flow among Samsung SDI plants at home
and abroad.
SCM is organized in accordance with product. Braun tube operation team can include the primary partnering company
(e.g. Samsung electricity) only while Battery/Electron Gun operation team can cover domestic and foreign processing
companies, finished product manufacturers, and secondary partnering companies at home and abroad and so forth.
The internal function of Samsung SDI SCM organizes sale, development, production, purchase, shipping, finance/
accounting sectors and if overseas plants have no development function it can be excluded in the sector.
Also logistics companies (e.g. Logipia) can be put in the management range of Samsung SDI.
